UTV accident in Boise County claims life of Arizona man; injures another
Boise County, ID (CBS2) — An early morning UTV side-by-side accident in Boise County claimed the life of an Arizona man and sent his passenger to the hospital with injuries according to Idaho State Police.
The accident occurred just before 1 AM near Clear Creek Lodge on Sept. 30, when the 54-year-old Mesa, Arizona man was driving a Canam side-by-side on Deadman Gulch and failed to negotiate a sharp turn causing him to drive 20 feet down a ravine.
Neither the man nor his passenger were wearing a seatbelt. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, his passenger was airlifted to a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries, there is no word on her condition.
The Idaho State Police are investigating this crash.
