Ark Survival Ascended offers players a series of advantageous craftable items to gain a competitive edge over their enemies, however, finding the crafting ingredients for these items is the real problem. Silica Pearls are a main ingredient for most electronics within Ark Survival Ascended, therefore, making the resource incredibly important.
Where to Find Silica Pearls In Ark Survival Ascended
Silica Pearls can be found in bundles around the coastline of the entire island, but it's widely known the higher spawn chances are located on the coastline of the snow biome specifically. This is because clams can be found regularly. After all, they reside in the snow biome more frequently, leading to high gatherings of Silica Pearls.
You do not need a tool to harvest Silica Pearls, however, you will need to ensure your character doesn't succumb to the harsh conditions of the snow biome by wrapping up warm and being able to heat up with a possible campfire.
Previously, in Ark Survival Evolved, players were able to find silica pearls in the rivers and water deposits around the island but there haven't been any reported Silica Pearls around these locations in Ark Survival Ascended.
Best Silica Pearl Spawn Location In Ark Survival Ascended
For players attempting to farm a high quantity of Silica Pearls in one sitting, it's recommended you build a base on the south side of the snow biome to store all the newly collected Silica Pearls.
It's highly counter-productive to reside in the snow biome for extended periods simply because of the environmental restrictions it poses on players, making them keep warm and use resources to build heavier clothing.
The left island of the snow biome is a lot easier to navigate and more extensive in land mass, making it easier for players to loop around the island and collect the newly respawned Silica Pearls, this is best for farming Silica Pearls.
