If you are having problems with FPS drops after Valorant patch 2.09, here is a solution how to fix frame rate in Valorant.

Since patch 2.09, players have been reporting serious FPS drops in Valorant.
Players who previously run the game at ~150 FPS are now reporting that the game barely works on 60 frames per second. Some say that the situation is getting even worse when there are several players in the area, and others say that the game starts stuttering whenever they spot an enemy.
This is not a new problem with the game. It seems that this happens almost after every new patch, and Riot should prioritize this and find a solution that should permanently fix this problem, as it can cause some serious frustrations amongst players and jeopardize players' experience.
It seems that the FPS problem is getting progressively worse since Valorant patch 2.05, as that was the first time since the release that players started reporting massive frame drops in Valorant.
Valorant patch 2.09: How to fix FPS drops
Valorant doesn't have big system requirements and it is designed so that anyone with an average PC can play it.
Nonetheless, players have been having issues with frame drops since the game's release.
Unfortunately, there is still no definitive solution that will make this problem disappear once and forever, but Reddit user mackfan offered what is considered to be the best fix for the problem at the moment.
According to him, to check and possibly fix the issue with FPS drops, you should try these steps:
Launch Valorant, and minimize the game
Open your Task Manager (by right-clicking the Windows Task Bar and clicking "Task Manager")
Click "More Details", and select the "Processes" tab
Right-click Valorant, and select "Go to details"
Right-click "VALORANT-WIN64-Shipping.exe", and select "Set Affinity"
A window will pop up showing which CPU threads are currently enabled for Valorant. If they're all checked, this fix probably doesn't apply to you. If there's only a couple checked off and everything else is unchecked? Check the box "<All Processors>", and click OK
Repeat step #5 and 6, but on "VALORANT.exe"
While this is not a guaranteed solution and it might not fix the FPS problem for you, it is still worth a shot, as it has been reported that can help with the issue, and at least make it not that bad.
Unfortunately, this is only a temporary solution, and for the permanent fix, Riot Games will need to work on a patch that will finally remove FRP drops from the game.
